Are not all people hypocrites?

technically speaking, i dont see how anyone can go through life without being a hypocrite. no one tells the exact truth about everything. when its easier to distort something to make things go smoother, that is what 99% of folks will do. is it fair to say " little white lie " is a mild form of hypocrisy? a quick example is when at a restaurant when you are paying the clerk and she asks how was everything. most people will say just fine even if it wasnt and they have no intention of coming back. they just want to pay up and get out of there.
