Will AT&T replace my broken phone at no cost to me or my contract?

I broke my AT&T phone about 2 days ago, and I am fully aware that the break was likely my fault. I have had my phone for about a year and a half, so my contract expires in the next 6 months. This is my first and only phone with AT&T, so I've never experienced what happens when a phone breaks with them. I have used Verizon before, and I can remember that they will ship me a new phone if I send the old one back. I leave for college in 2 months, and I have to switch carriers because AT&T is not supported in my college town. I will be moving to Verizon in 2 months after paying the early termination fee and all that. But I really do not want to wait 2 months to have a phone again. I think it's because I didn't go through the motions; I avoided feeling rejection bc I was afraid it would make me feel worse and lead me on a path of self-wallowing and self pity. (I USED to be like that before and took rejection badly but for the past 2 yrs, I've been surprisingly better about it). All I know is that I'm a busy gal and I don't like people being indecisive and wasting my time. Should i get new speakers for my crown victoria?

i have a 1997 ford crown victoria lx, i installed a new kenwood stereo in it and it sounds great. Its volume goes up to 32 and i can put it up to 28 without it distorting. But I do have the sounded partially faded to the rear speakers. Should i get new speakers? Speaker jack won't work?

I recently bought new speakers and the jack/connector part that plugs into my ipod acts really weird. Depending on what way it is twisted, different speakers will or won't work. There's a 'sweetspot' of sorts that gets all of them to work, but moving ipod or handling the jack in anyway will distort it again. What are my options?? I don't think it's under a warranty since I bought it off amazon.

In my Toyota Camry 97 i have in the front doors Kicker Component DS6.2 , No speakers in the backdoors, and on the back dash Infinity Kappa 62.9i . I have a regular car reciever a kenwood KDC-4022 . Guitar Distortion Pedals?

Hey guys, I am currently looking for some preferably high-end guitar distortion (or whatever is needed) type of pedals to get a few different sounds of music. I have a Dean Warbird and a Schecter Hellraiser Special C1-FR (incase you need to know) going through a marshall 100-watt amp (hoping to eventually upgrade to a half-stack, but ill post another question for that when the time comes). I have a distortion pedal, but it is one of those do-everything pedals that is electronic and doesnt specialize in anything in particular, and hoping to upgrade. I have saved up a little money, and want to get some new ones. I am in a band that plays rock (to appease to the bar setting that most of our gigs are at), metal and postcore/deathcore stuff occasionally (very ranged genre type, i know). I was hoping to get pedals that really make my sound great for all of those. If possible, I am hoping to get a pedal that would have great tone and crispness for classic rock, but with enough distortion to play modern rock. The second pedal I want is one that has great gain/distortion and would have the dark and very distorted (but not sooooo much that it is unbearable and undistinguishable) sound that bands like Attila/Within the Ruins would use. I would also like one (for me, not really for the band) that would have the right sound and tone for, say, Avenged Sevenfold type of songs, with lots of solos and preferably made to sound geat with drop D.......... I know this is asking a lot, but if you guys could compile maybe a list or at least answer to one of those, that would be really,really helpful....... Thanks.

The program doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles but it needs to be understandable and easy to use. I've tried Reaper, LMMS, Magix, and a few others I found with google but they all require you to have either a MIDI controller or an instrument that you plug into your computer so I can't use any of them. The only one that worked without an external device was LMMS but the sound was distorted and several octaves below the notes I wanted. What would be ideal would be a program that was similar in functionality to the old school song creator on MarioPaint (SNES) but it needs to have a *little* more variety than that. A programmable virtual Casio keyboard would be perfectly fine but I can't seem to find anything that doesn't require a lot of VST plugins or that will simply play the notes through the speakers or put them in .mp3 format. My sub is getting distorted at high volumes please help?

Hi i have a JL 13w7 powered by a JL 1000/1 amp and a 1 farad rockford fosgate 1 farad cap. My sub works perfectly fine when i have the volume low or medium but when i increase to to a higher level it begins to distort. When i took it to the guys that installed it they told me that the coils are overheating but i feel they just want me to buy a sub from them as they insisted that JL audio suck and that the fosgate t2's they have are better. Also, i have it in a sealed box that's built to spec. I feel that it might just be tuned wrong but at the same time i don't know much about car audio.

Why does my acoustic guitar sound overdriven?

So I have been in the middle of doing some home recording with my band. I've been using a combination of a condenser mic with the d.i of my guitar, but the sound coming out of my d.i has this overdriven, distorted feel. Any ideas why, and can it be fixed? IPod Touch earphone jack not working right?

I got my iPod last summer (in either june or july) and it was workign fine until last week the earphones were coming out distorted so i changed my earphones thinking it was just those and with 2 new pairs it still did it. I've tried developing prints at the local places and through snapfish, etc. But where do professionals get their photos printed? They always seem to ship them off somewhere? My car amp is very soft... any ideas?

I bought a second hand amplifier... 1500w Star Sound. I hooked it up to my car 2 days ago. I hooked up a different amp a couple years back so I know I did it right. The power lead is hooked up to the battery with a fuse attached. Remote wire is hooked up to the front loader as well as the RC cables. I mounted the ground wire to a metal bracket the connects onto the back seat. I sanded down so all the paints off and its pure metal...Now I plug everything in and it works fine at low volume. I turn the gain on the amp to full and it starts distorting... I turn the volume on the frontloader to max and its still really soft and still distorts... I can describe it as this.... at low volume it sounds perfect. Clear sound, nice bass etc. once i turn it louder on either the front loader or the amp it distorts and stays at same volume. The sub woofer is fine because I used it up until 2 days ago to put it in the car. Now I don't know what the problem could be... if anyone has any suggestions please help me. Amp is still under guarantee but I don't want to take it back and they test it and it works fine. The wiring kit I used is brand new. 4Gauge power cable and all.

I am anorexic and I have depression and an anxiety disorder. I've been going to therapy, seeing doctors, and overall, I'm really resource and time consuming. My dads been out of town for two weeks and I have a 13 and a 3 year old brothers so I'm tryin to help out around the house by cleaning, cooking, and doing other chores. My 13 year old brother watches my 3 year old brother and gets lots of thanks and praise. When I help, I get thanks but I just feel unappreciated and really guilty all the time. What the HELL is this dream all about?

Turtle Beach Ear Force PX21 Sound Problems?

I've got a turtle beach ear force px21 head set and the sound is completely messed up and distorted after having it for only 3 months. The microphone works fine though. I wasn't rough with it and I've never stepped on it by accident or anything else like that. My brother and I use it a lot so if that has anything to do with it for both the PS3 and the PC. When it comes to storing it I just set it beside the PS3 or PC with the wires kind of bunched up together since its a really long cable.. I'm getting it replaced because its still under warranty so I was wondering if the headset just messed up from general use, but 3 months of it working seems like a very crappy value for a $70 headset, or is the thing just cheaply made?

Why is my stereo distorting the sound?

I have a six channel impedance balancer that i can hear vibration in and it causes some distortion. Happens mostly or exclusively with CDs. Volume of the stereo nor specific speaker channel is very high either for it to happen. What could it be? CD play is first generation Pioneer.

Skype sounds are distorted and jittery?

This is not just for the webcam sounds, its ALL of skype sounds, like the intro sign in sound, the ringtones etc. My skype was working fine but all of a sudden its sound is all crazy, and its hard to understand the people when they're all distorted and and skipping sound really quickly. I went out with a guy who I thought was such a gentleman, classy, and genuine. During dinner, it felt like a freakin job interview. I know you're supposed to get to know each other but dang, I wasn't expecting to get asked all these "wifey" questions and get judged on it. I am who I am and will not apologize for it but the whole time, he made it seem like my answers weren't "good enough" or not what he was looking for. I'm a lady, good girl, friendly/easygoing, gets along w. everyone. I'm not your average woman, I'm me. And here's this guy, asking, "do you get along w. your co-workers? are you an angry person?" WTH?! I appreciate honest/straight forward people but really? It's been a while and in my head, any respectable person would not want to be w. someone so judgmental and have a "job interview" experience but I can't help but be a bit traumatized by it still. I think it's because I didn't go through the motions; I avoided feeling rejection bc I was afraid it would make me feel worse and lead me on a path of self-wallowing and self pity. (I USED to be like that before and took rejection badly but for the past 2 yrs, I've been surprisingly better about it). All I know is that I'm a busy gal and I don't like people being indecisive and wasting my time. What car speakers should i get?

I have a 97 ford crown victoria and i just installed a 15 inch JL sub and 760 watt pioneer amp, it sounds great but when i get to real high volumes my speakers start to distort because they are stock. im hearing voices when i lay down to go to sleep. i close my eye and its like hes having a conversation but i can only hear his side. and once hes called out my name. its only happend 4 times. also, i keep thinking im seeing thing out the side of my eyes. like there will be small black thing that moves quickly then disapear. or i'll look around the room and everything will go, kind of, distorted and it will look like things move a tiny bit. i have very server anxiety and i have been getting REALY scared lately if that helps at all. could i just be thinking to much of this or do you think i should talk to my phycologist, yeah i have one. thanxx :)

Color on laptop is distorted after installing old computer game?....?

I installed the game Age of Empires II and The Conquerors expansion onto my laptop. My brother helped and then he did some other stuff like he turned explorer off and then after we played we'd turn it back on. Well, ever since we installed the game, I've been having pop-up ads, which doesn't make sense because my firewalls are still up and in tact, and my internet page (Firefox) is completely washed out. I've tried turning off explorer and turning it back on, rebooting my computer, uninstalling the game, etc. but nothing has been working. Does anyone have any ideas whats going on?? The same thing happened to me, but I don't know for sure if that person really has the item and they are just jerks. You should always have a tracking number. It costs .80 cents. If you don't want to pay it, charge them for it. Some people are jerks and since they know that you did not provide a tracking number they will say that they did not receive it. So, then they open a case and you lose because eBay does not know who to believe. In this case they will favor the buyer and not the seller. Next time have a tracking number. You can call (it's better if you call) and tell them what happened. But I really doubt they will favor you. Sorry, I know how it feels. Also, when you sell an item, go to where you select who gets to buy your items. Ex. you get to pick how many posiitve feedback a buyer hads to have in order to buy from you- this way you know that this person is honest.

Can you fix distorted vision from crossed eyes?

I use to be crossed eyed when i was younger, but i had laser surgery to correct it when i was around 7. My eyes look fine now, but the vision in one eye is really distorted. Even if i wear glasses or contacts, i still can't see clearly and the difference in vision from both eyes give me headaches. Is there any possible way i can fix my vision?
